This recipe makes a lychee martini just as God intended… that is, exactly the same taste as the Nobu version, without the sugar.
The humble lychee martini in this form (ie, light) is akin to a Cosmo in that it is ageless, season-less, and perfect for any occasion. All the ingredients can be stored in the pantry to make at the drop of a hat.

cocktail shaker
ice
toothpick for garnish (optional)
chilled (if possible) glassware of choice
INGREDIENTS:
serves 1
2 oz vodka
1 oz (2 Tablespoons) lychee juice from canned lychees — in NYC, ordered from Wegmans
1 Tablespoon fresh lime juice
1/2 oz dry vermouth
1-2 canned lychees
STEPS:
It’s nice to chill your glassware in advance in the freezer.
Add ice to a cocktail shaker. Pour in remaining ingredients. Shake well. Pour into chilled glass. Garnish with a lychee. Enjoy!
