These recipes require zero preparation and have minimal cleanup. Find your faves, stock your pantry with the few things needed for each, and make on repeat.

FISH:
fish is ideal for last minute needs as it cooks quickly in the oven with zero cleanup and always impresses.
Janie’s Swordfish with Mango Salsa — could do salmon steaks also
MEAT:
Foolproof Stovetop Chicken Breasts — a great everyday method that uses any dry seasoning, easy and delicious for last minute cooking
Lemony Chicken with Pan Sauce — this sauce. don’t be scared by anchovies, it just makes it salty + they dissolve
Shawarma Chicken — couldn’t be easier if you have my spice blend, or if you have these spices in your pantry! *best if marinated minimum 6 hrs/the night before
Brennan’s “Secret Sauce” (Honey Mustard-ish) Chicken — quick marinade of ingredients always in the pantry *best if marinated minimum 6 hrs/the night before
Perfect Grilled Chicken — for when you have less than 2 hours to marinate your chicken, this is the one to do. the marinade has a lot of ingredients, but yields amazing flavor for last minute needs. any cooking method works, not just grilling
Boneless skinless chicken thighs roasted at 400 for 35 minutes with olive oil + your favorite dry seasoning (simple salt, pepper, sprinkles or spike, garlic powder is perfect). Option to add chopped yellow onion, sweet potato, cauliflower, etc. to make it a one-dish meal.
Greek Turkey Burgers/Patties — could also use ground chicken
Simple Bolognese Sauce over 2-minute steamed broccoli, roasted spaghetti squash, or base of choice
EGGS/BREAKFAST:
Chili Eggs with Goat Cheese, Avo & Herbs — endless variations possible. omit cheese for dairy-free, use any hot sauce, any herbs, any veg
Heavy Metal Detox Smoothie, any variation
A bowl with half an avocado cubed, applegate chicken sausages and yellowbird hot sauce, option to add a egg (jammy/hard-boiled or other)
A bowl with frozen organic wild blueberries, chopped fresh fruit, unsweetened hemp or almond milk, chopped almonds, unsweetened shredded coconut, sprinkle of salt.
VEG & SALADS:
Any greens with OG Salad Dressing (my #1 fridge staple at ALL TIMES, takes 3 minutes to make)
Steamed broccoli, brussels or green beans in a pot of salted water, then tossed with grass-fed butter, salt and lemon. Broccoli = 2 minutes, halved brussels = 3 minutes, green beans = 1-2 minutes.
Crispy Broccolini — toss with extra virgin olive oil, generous salt and pepper + roast on a parchment-lined baking sheet at 400 for 20-30 min or until desired crispness is reached.
Sauteed broccoli with minced garlic, ginger, coconut aminos, salt and pepper until crispy.

TREATS:
homemade whipped cream from my icebox cake recipe + fresh berries
medjool dates, pits removed, sauteed in extra virgin olive oil until jammy and caramelized. sprinkle with salt, and serve as is, or with chunks of good dark chocolate, or over vanilla ice cream. dates are also perfect with pits removed, then stuffed with slices of good salted butter. yum.
